We are in!
Here we are. I am officially posting on the blog while sitting on the coach in my NEW house! The process was pretty painless. The movers got the apartment at 8:30am on Friday. Chris and I left at 8:50 for closing and they were almost finished with the apartment. We closed in Mason and got to the house at the same time as the movers. While we were closing the movers along with my dad and Chris' brother unloaded the storage unit. The movers were okay-fairly inexperienced but their enthusiasm made up for it. An end table ended up being a casuality. Also, our reclining sofa was supposed to go to the basement. Well--some wall scrapes, a hole in the ceiling, and some wood gauges later it is sitting in the family room. Ugg! Ryan Homes will come back in a few days and hopefully fix it. That is it though. We were in by 2pm. My mom catered lunch and dinner for us that day too. I am blessed with a fantastic family!! I had to go to a Kappa Phi meeting in Lima on Saturday morning so I havent unpacked anything yet. My super mom came over yesterday and started organizing my closet. I will say I have my bed and washer and dryer back. I am one happy woman! :) More pictures to come soon.

I am excited beyond words!!
But that wont stop me from posting some words. Our sales rep (Deb) was nice and came and opened our house so we could walk through it. It is amazing!! Even all the same color it looks great! All of the carpet is installed, doors are in, appliances are in and working, and the basement is finished!! Oh my goodness. It makes it that much harder because it is almost ready and we want to be in. Natalie ran around and had a lot of fun in the house. Eight more days...

2 weeks until move day!!!!
The house is now locked so we met our project manager's assistant today so we weren't breaking any rules. The painters were in the house sanding, touching up, and painting the house. Nice! The electrical, media, and lighting is all done. They said that the painting will be done today and then the cleaner will be in tomorrow morning and then carpet installed tomorrow afternoon. After that small touch ups. So two weeks from today we will be moving into our new house! The sheer amt of area that needs painted is overwhelming but I know I can do that slowly. For now, here are some odds and ends pictures of the house from today. Oh yeah-we have a driveway and porch now!!
